EN (European Norm) Standards
Harmonizing with IEC standards, EN has added requirements for strict electrification measures for pan-European regions. For international trades in European countries and the ones between Europe and Japan/North America, products to be imported or exported should be already certified by EN. CE marking is mandatory for 12 types of industrial products of which safety is critically required. To affix CE marking, those industrial products should meet all relevant EU directives (corresponding to regulations in 18 countries).
