In 1989, Digital developed the world’s first touch-screen programmable display. This device features a flat panel touch-screen displaying a graphical operation panel with switches, lamps and meters linked to factory floor equipment.
Since then, we have been providing convenient and user-friendly interfaces to impress customers as a pioneering developer of the what we call HMI, the “human-machine interface.”
As a leader in HMI, we strive to continue responding rapidly to the wide-ranging changes taking place around the world. We are dedicated to developing new interfaces between people and machines, between people, and between people and environment, in order to introduce innovations capable of meeting diverse needs in a wide range of applications around the world.
Through this effort, we are contributing to the international community and to our customers worldwide.
